Prodigy Poodles
Prodigy In the Show Ring

We've had a great year so far!

Our lovely new girl "Prodigy's Outspoken" aka "Maddie" (who is out of our girl "Reagan" and our boy "Cutter") made a huge splash at her very first AKC dog show in Reno Nevada in August. From the 6-9 month puppy class, Maddie went Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex BACK TO BACK for 2 FIVE POINT MAJORS!! She was owner handled and is well on her way to her AKC Championship!
We are thrilled!

In September one of our puppies from our Reagan & Cutter litter, "Nick" aka "Prodigy's Freedom to Excel" went Winners dog, Best of Opposite Sex from the 6-9 month Puppy class under Breeder Judge Bill Cunningham for a 3 point Major! Way to go Nick! He is owned by the Davroom family of Sandy Utah!

Also in September, our good friend Kailien Vernon's silver standard boy "Pinafore All 4 One & One for All" Finished his AKC Championship! He finished with a 3 point Major under Judge Faye Strauss! We are so proud of this boy as NONE of his points were from a professional handler! He is now working on his Grand Championship, and has already received his first Major Grand Champion points!

Also this year, our silver miniature boy, "Einstein" went Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex at the South Jordan Utah cluster in May for a 4 point Major!

At the Poodle National Specialty in April 2012, "Einstein" aka "Cabryn Brainiac" went 4th in his 9-12 month class under Breeder-Judge Maria Aizcorbe

We are also proud of our
home bred Champion, Olivia,
"UKC/INT CH Prodigy's Amorous Intentions at Monet"

Our girl Olivia has had a great spring! She's gathered 3 more of her passes towards her UKC Grand Championship, as well as Achieving her International title at the IABCA shows in Tucson, Arizona, earning the highest rating possible. She now will be taking a break from the show ring  to have a litter of puppies in May!

Here is Olivia right after showing at the International shows in Tucson, Arizona March 13th, 2010

Getting read for the ring! Only half of her ear bands had been taken out!

This was taken at the UKC show in January. She was so excited to be back in the show ring again, that she just couldn't help herself and bounded around the ring! She still managed to win the Champion Class with her performance, and earn another pass towards her UKC Grand Championship!

2009 Show Updates:

2009 was a very busy year, showing across the country, from Michigan to North Carolina to Kentucky to Oklahoma and finishing in Arizona!

This year we've finished 4 UKC Champions and 2 UKC Grand Champions!  We've had multiple Group #1's, #2's, #3's and #4's, including 2 group placings in a very competitive Gun Dog Group at UKC's Premier show in June (there were 26 dogs present in the group!).

In September 2009 in Hickory North Carolina our home bred champion Stoney finished his UKC Grand Championship and took a Group #4 placement.

In October 2009 at the Mason-Dixon Multi-breed Dog Association in Simpsonville, Kentucky show, our girl "Olivia" aka "Prodigy's Amorous Intentions at Monet" earned her UKC Championship, as well as the first win towards her "Grand Championship". That same show she took Best of Breed and a group #2!

In November 2009 at the Oklahoma American Eskimo Dog Association in Norman, OK our girl "Reagan" took back to back to back Best of Breed wins, along with a Group #1, and two Group #2's.

At that same show, "Stoney" aka "Prodigy's Stone Cold Sober" took back to back to back Best of Breed wins, along with a Group #4 and two group #1's.

Finishing the 2009 show season, December 2009 at the Wasatch American Eskimo Dog Association in Phoenix, Arizona, our girl "Reagan" aka "Prodigy's Freedom of Speech" earned her UKC Grand Championship!

At the same show, our newest edition's from our summer litter "Prodigy's Divalicious Design" aka "Raven" earned her UKC Championship, and "Prodigy's Sparkling Champagne" aka "Bubbles" earned 2 wins towards her Championship! Both girls our out of our "Olivia" and "American/Canadian Champion Pinafore Bring it On" aka "Eddie"

Also in Arizona, our lovely silver boy, "Pinafore Winds of Change" earned his UKC Championship!

Our four girls are getting ready for the 2010 season as we continue to grow coats. We will begin showing UKC in January and February in Arizona and Utah, and will also head for the AKC ring in Arizona in  March.

We are also looking forward for UKC's National show at their new venue in July in Richmond, Indiana.

Olivia started her show career in 2008 at the UKC Premier show in Kalmazoo, Michigan. She did very well, and took Best Female and Best of Winners at her very first show! In September 2008 she attended her first AKC show, where she went Reserve Winners both days.

Olivia has a fun loving, outgoing personality and she absolutely LOVES to show! She's also a fiercely loyal dog, and would, no doubt, go through fire for her people.
Watch for her this coming Spring 2010!

Reagan is such a wonderful dog, and a pure joy to be around! She finished her Canadian Championship as a puppy with a Puppy Group 1st placement!

She started her UKC show career the Spring of 2009 with great style, winning back to back Best of Breeds and Group 1st's. We took her with us to UKC's National Show, Premier, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she took a Best of Breed in the United Retriever Club Specialty under Judge David Kittredge. The following 3 shows she took a respectable Reserve from the Champion Class.

This is "Prodigy's Stone Cold Sober" at 6 months old!

Also this year at UKC's Premier, "Stoney" --"UKC Grand CH Prodigy's Stone Cold Sober" went Best of Breed for the United Retriever Club Specialty, expertly shown by Juliette Bumstead of England. He continued the weekend with Back to Back to Back Best of Breed wins, a Group #4 placement on Friday (shown by Heather Bryan), a Group # 3 Placement on Saturday (shown by Juliette Bumstead), and he made the cut for the Group on Sunday (shown by Heather Bryan).

Special Thanks for all the Judges who gave him such wonderful wins: David Kittredge, William Alexander, Monica Park, and Douglas Belter.

He is currently ranked #1 in UKC's Top Ten Standings with 98 Best of
Breed Points.
